BILLINGS, MT- In her Dark
Americana series student artist Meagan Milton explores consumerism,
nationalism and the Constitution, and the web that ties all of these themes
together. By taking a moderate stance in
her discussions, her art seeks to display the ultimate truth about America,
whatever that truth may be.
The exhibition will be Milton's senior
capstone- her final project before graduating from MSU- Billings.
The exhibition opens
November 3, 2017 with a catered reception and artist talk on November 9th at
6:00 p.m

Wish I could see the image, but the link is broken. Would encourage you to make this more specific, concrete . . .In what ways are you exploring the links between consumerism, nationalism and the Constitution? If conceptually are you interrogating specific passages of the Constitution, examining notions of property, etc.? Intriguing, but for the sake of a press release you would need to make this much clearer, more concrete (less interesting to you and more accessible to a general audience)
